Sam joined the Fideres management team in 2024 as CFO. He provides strategic guidance on financing, commercials, compliance, structuring, operational efficiency, best practice and finance specialist coordination.
From 2014-2024 Sam worked for a number of other fast growth privately owned, Private Equity and Venture Capital backed companies as CFO, including Corndel and Aptem, leading to successful fundraises and exits.
From 2009-2014, he worked at Centrica, where he led the reporting on £2bn of Nuclear Power Assets, and managed various energy commercial projects, including the disposal of Braes of Doune wind farm for £50m.
From 2004-2009, Sam trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in their Financial Services audit function, before moving to their transactions services division focusing on modelling commercial opportunities such as M&A and refinancing.
Sam is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds a Masters in Physics from Imperial College, London.
