Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has won the lead in a large antitrust case against banks who sold credit default swaps.
At a Dec. 5 hearing, U.S. District Judge Denise Cote said Quinn Emanuel had “unique strengths,” including its trial bench and “extraordinary strengths” in appellate litigation. It had also presented the most sophisticated damages model, she said.
