Hagens Berman have this week filed an important complaint against RealPage and a group of firms that sell leases on multi-family residential real estate units in Seattle. The complaint alleges that RealPage’s platform and algorithm provided an unprecedented method for lessors to track competitors’ rents and collude to respond to changing rates in real time, in lockstep.
