Fideres responds to the Competition and Markets Authority’s consultation on its annual plan for 2020/21

The CMA’s annual plan makes important strides into the future, but falls short in the following key areas:

• Digital Markets and algorithmic price fixing
• Whistleblower rewards
• Merger assessment and labour markets
• Pharmaceutical Pricing
• Data availability

We believe that including these in the CMA’s annual plan is integral to ensuring a modernized and effective approach to competition regulation.
