Fideres were pleased to have the opportunity to respond to the Canadian Competition Bureau on its consultation on its Draft Abuse of Dominance Enforcement Guidelines (see here). We focused on the statutory limits on fines, and the need to tailor the economic analysis of abuse of dominance to recognise the network effects that feature in so many multi-sided platforms and digital markets.
